Another Day 1 at Work

Nakakapanibago. Here are some things I have observed on my first day at my new workplace:

  • graveyard VS morning shift
  • casual VS corporate attire
  • all sites blocked VS unrestricted access
  • coffee vendo VS free chocolates and snacks in the pantry
  • “loud” VS tranquil environment
  • clean room policy (no personal items including mobile phones allowed) VS clean DESK policy (walang bawal)
  • a variety of queers VS all straight ;)
  • P20/15m late VS flexible sched
  • proximity card VS biometric access
  • limited HMO (that you can use ONLY upon regularization) VS sky’s the limit med reimbursement (can use on 1st day of employment)
  • tyranny to laissez-faire

This place may not be the best out there but at least, it’s way better than XXX XX. Haha!
